Advanced Manufacturing Group Ltd. (AMG) is looking for a (Carryover Pricing) Production Associate, who will be tasked to manage the materials used to produce footwear. This means close collaboration with material suppliers, the materials department, and tracking the materials market on price fluctuations. The role would suit someone who has come from a small to medium size organization, has worked for or with footwear manufacturers or has worked for or with material suppliers. Key will be the ‘Can Do’ approach and a results focused mindset, being able to work through vast amounts of information and with strong negotiation and convincing skills. Additionally, you will be comfortable managing teams and expectations and striving towards continuous improvement with strict timeframes in a complex environment. Responsibilities The PD Senior Costing Associate will report into the Category Director in Fujian, and ? Work with T1 factory and T2 supplier for pricing . ? Break down a shoe cost . ? Evaluated the cost-down option . ? Monthly and seasonal costing report . ? Report status on a monthly basis to senior management and provide information as needed to the Regional General Manager of Fujian Requirements ? Bachelor’s degree preferred ? 5+ years’ experience in a similar role ? Proven experience in tracking and reporting the raw material prices, and being able to translate that into price increases or decreases of materials used in footwear ? Strong negotiator, backed by strong analytical skills ? Extensive Microsoft Office skills with the purpose of reporting and presenting ? Knowledge and experience in the processes of footwear manufacturing ? Excellent Oral & Written Communication and Presentation Skills in both Mandarin and English ? Expected to spend extensive times in factories within the Fujian region ? Flexibility to work in evenings and weekends, if and when needed
