Responsibilities - Implement sustainability programs on behalf of AMG and its customers for AMG and its suppliers - Conduct sustainability research and reviews - Attend sustainability conferences and meetings - Engagement in stakeholder activities such as interviews, discussions, and other communications - Support the company on sustainability analysis & reporting - Track and monitor the status of sustainability initiatives among all business units and raise risks and issues - Follow up Corrective Actions Plans (CAP) with related parties - Follow AMG’s sustainability strategy, drive changes to supply chain including company-owned and partner suppliers to meet strategic sustainability goals - Prepare and provide training to internal and external stakeholders - Liaise with external auditors Requirements - University degree, majoring in engineering, statistic, and/or business administration - At least 3 years working experience in sustainability or EHS environment, with proven understanding in EHS & sustainability framework and practice - Good project management skills - Good listening & interpersonal skills and ability to work with parties from different levels and cultural backgrounds, and care for details - Proven quantitative and qualitative research skills and ability analyse and report data - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a matrix organization and in cross-functional business teams - Strong problem identifying and solving skill as well as good sense of urgency - Fluent in English and Mandarin, both verbally as well as in writing - Extensive Microsoft Office skills with the purpose of analyzing data, reporting and presenting - Expected travel within Asia is about 25%, with most of the time spent in China (Fujian and Shandong provinces), but also in countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam - Role is based in Jinjiang, Fujian - Flexibility to work in evenings and weekends, if and when needed
